The Andis RACD is a super powerful rotary motor clipper in a compact size with detachable blades for complete styling versatility. The clipper is made of stainless steel and comes with a size 000 detachable blade (.5 mm). Six attachment combs are included which range in size from 1.6 mm to 25.4 mm, including 4 safety combs with a rounded tip for safer clipping. In spite of the powerful rotary motor mechanism, the Andis RACD Out liner is extremely quiet and smooth in operation. Blades are easy to change for clipping, trimming and cleaning. Just press the quick release button, slip off one blade and slip on another one. A protective blade guard should help you keep the cutting mechanism safe when not in use or while traveling. The clipper sports a sleek chrome housing with an ergonomic design that fits comfortably in the hand for extended use all day long. How to care:
Unplug the clipper and remove the blade from the clipper, use a small size cleaning brush, that usually comes with the kit to clean hair stuck between the blades and clipper. Inspect the blade drive, if worn out it has to be replaced. This Quad blade drives assembly moves back and forth and helps create cutting action. Inspect the blade latch if your blades are loose or released frequently and replace it if needed.
